Great Yarmouth Marketing Initiative

GYMI is a public/private sector partnership with the objective to promote the port and industry of Great Yarmouth at home and abroad.

Great Yarmouth, on the East Coast of the UK offers a dynamic and varied industrial base which depends largely on the town's 24/7 accessible port which is currently undergoing major development.

Great Yarmouth, together with neighbouring Lowestoft, also has an Urban Regeneration Company (1st East) dedicated to attracting investment and rejuvenation to waterfront areas alongside other regeneration and investment programmes.

GYMI offers its membership opportunities to explore new markets in a cost effective way through attendance at trade fairs, exhibitions and promotional events both in the UK and overseas.

The key to GYMI's success is its ability to be flexible and react to changing marketplaces. GYMI will continue to consult its membership to ensure that the services it offers remains relevant to the needs of Great Yarmouth and its businesses.
