Access to credit survey - Shaping Norfolk's Future

Shaping Norfolk's Future is carrying out a research project on how the credit crunch, in terms of access to credit, is affecting businesses in Norfolk.
Shaping Norfolk's Future has commissioned a group of MBA students from the University of East Anglia Business School to undertake this research.
The perception is that Banks have not passed on the benefit of reduced interest rates to businesses and have tightened up their lending criteria for both existing credit lines and applications for new funds, causing real hardship. We are working with businesses across Norfolk, with the Federation of Small Businesses and the Institute of Directors to try and find out what has really happened, and would value your support.
We will also be approaching the Banks to see what their response is to our findings.
Whilst surveys on this topic have been done on a national level, this is the first on a local level which makes the results all the more relevant.

The closing date for the survey is the 29th May.
